Why do we ask you to log in?
We ask you to log in so that we can customize the virutal
laboratory to your needs. We use your login as a way of saving your model
settings as you use the virtual laboratory.
We do not distribute any of the information that you give us during
registration and will only e-mail you about the virtual laboratory if you
request inclusion in these mailings during registration.
If you select the Save Password option above, the virtual laboratory
will save a cookie token on your machine. A cookie is a very small text
file used in this case to store your login information. This is same
technique used by the vast majority of publically accessible web sites and does
not represent any undue security concerns. The default security settings for
almost all browsers allow cookie saving but you may have increased the security
setting of your browser and this will disable cookie saving. If the Save
Password functionality doesn't appear to work check your browser security
settings.
